Volcom, the American sports apparel retailer, was struggling to see value from Google Shopping while managing a catalogue of more than 5,000 SKUs and trying to reclaim branded searches. Working with Bidnamic, they looked for a more automated way to handle the time-intensive task of monitoring and updating Shopping campaigns, especially after Smart Shopping failed to deliver strong profits.
Bidnamic implemented its machine learning Google Shopping platform with high-frequency bid management and ongoing client success support, including feed and Merchant Center recommendations. The result was a 34% YoY increase in ROAS, 32% YoY revenue growth, 35% YoY more conversions, plus a 20% reduction in average CPC and a 27% drop in CPA. Volcom also expanded Google Shopping management into the Canadian market with Bidnamic.
