IdeaCom Mid-America - Customer Case Study

IdeaCom Mid-America, a communications company, was challenged by their client Goodwill Easter-Seals to provide a modern, cost-effective enterprise telephony solution. The non-profit organization needed a highly flexible system that could easily scale and adapt to its rapid growth and the frequent relocation of its stores, moving them beyond their outdated and restrictive previous setup. For this solution, IdeaCom Mid-America turned to the vendor Bicom Systems and their PBXware product.

Bicom Systems' PBXware provided a unified communications system that networked all of Goodwill's locations. The implementation, which included replacing over 200 desk phones with just 70 phones—mostly softphones—enabled easy expansion and remote access. The results gave Goodwill the flexibility they required and exciting new features like an end user portal and a predictive dialer for fundraising, all without the need for constant hardware changes. This successful project represented significant growth and technological advancement for both the customer and IdeaCom Mid-America.
