Preview of the Epic Games Case Study

Epic Games helps Biborg launch the first-ever live Unreal Engine 5 dance performance with Epic Games and Xsens

The customer, Epic Games, worked with vendor Biborg to push the boundaries of gaming and live art, seeking to create a completely new form of immersive experience. Their challenge was to explore the limits of what is possible when combining these two worlds.

Biborg, in collaboration with Epic Games and Movella Xsens, developed and produced a unique gamified ballet performance. This hybrid real-and-virtual show, powered by Unreal Engine 5, was the first of its kind and demonstrated the potential for integrating video game elements like interactivity and multiplayer aspects into live art. As a result, Biborg proved that these innovative, immersive performances are possible and can now offer clients new ways to blend the physical and virtual worlds.
