Jackson College faced the challenge of an obsolete campus bookstore model that was no longer meeting the needs of modern learners, requiring a new solution to promote student success and retention. To address this, the college partnered with the vendor BibliU and implemented its Universal Learning product, a digital-first, day one access program.

The solution from BibliU provided equitable and affordable digital access to all required course materials from the start of the term. This implementation resulted in a direct positive correlation between platform usage and student outcomes; heavier users saw their average GPA increase by a full point. Furthermore, BibliU helped Jackson College achieve its highest student retention rates since 2018, with a 15% increase in retention and 94% of heavy users persisting from fall to spring.
