Amazonas State University transforms library access in 20 hours by boat with bibliotheca

The customer, Amazonas State University, faced the challenge of modernizing its library services and safely reopening its branch in the remote location of Parintins. To overcome this, the university partnered with vendor bibliotheca to implement a complete solution including self-service and security technology.

By implementing bibliotheca's self-service kiosks and an integrated anti-theft system, the library streamlined its loan processes and secured its collection. This solution empowered students to make loans independently, democratized access to teaching materials, and allowed staff to focus on managerial activities. The project made the university's Parintins library a reference for patron service in the North Region.
