A Biamp Case Study
The Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission (WAIRC), a government tribunal, outgrew its outdated AV system and sought a retrofit. The challenge was to improve audio comprehension, enable efficient administration of proceedings, and integrate new and existing technologies, all while future-proofing the system and reducing infrastructure costs for four new hearing and four new conference rooms. To meet these needs, they turned to Biamp and its Tesira digital signal processing platform.
Biamp's Tesira solution centralized the commission's monitoring and control, seamlessly integrated with third-party systems like Liberty Court Recording and Polycom video conferencing, and enabled features like web streaming and off-site transcription. The result was a future-proof, e-court environment that achieved Class A STI certification for audio quality. This empowered staff to manage proceedings remotely and significantly improved audio comprehension for all participants, allowing the commission to operate more efficiently and maintain its high standards of service.
