A Biamp Case Study
The United Brotherhood of Carpenters needed a flexible audio solution for its new international training facility in Las Vegas, a complex space with 22 classrooms, two divisible ballrooms, an atrium, workshop, and specialized training areas. As the organization expanded its education and support role for more than 200 regional training centers and 2,500 instructors, it required a scalable system that could adapt to multiple room configurations and training scenarios. Biamp’s Tesira platform with AVB was selected to meet those needs.
Biamp, working through integrator AVDB, implemented a high-channel-count Tesira system built around multiple Tesira SERVER-IO units, AVB cards, and EX-IN/EX-OUT endpoints to route audio across the facility’s reconfigurable spaces. The result was a flexible, easily expandable networked audio system that reduced wiring complexity and supported everything from ballroom presentations to ambient soundscapes in the atrium. The installation became one of the largest AVB deployments in North America, and Biamp’s support was cited as exceptional throughout the project.
