The Debrecen Competition Swimming Pool, a major swimming facility in Hungary, required a sound reinforcement system capable of delivering clear announcements and overcoming challenging acoustics in its highly reverberant environment. The vendor, Biamp, through its distributor Interton, provided a solution utilizing weather-resistant Community R2 loudspeakers to ensure high speech intelligibility during competitions.

The solution implemented by Biamp involved a centralized cluster of six specialized loudspeakers designed to deliver high sound pressure levels while resisting humidity. This system provided excellent clarity and was highly praised by organizers of the European Short Course Swimming Championship, who noted it was the best in intelligibility compared to previous venues.
