The Baby Grand, the 300-seat smaller venue at Wilmington’s Grand Opera House, needed a sound system that could deliver clear, even coverage in a room wider than its proscenium. Biamp was part of the audio processing and system integration effort, working alongside installed loudspeakers and a Soundcraft console to address the venue’s challenging acoustics.

Biamp’s solution helped support the new system design and tuning, contributing to improved intelligibility and more uniform horizontal coverage throughout the theater. With the upgraded setup in place, The Baby Grand has seen better sound performance for performances and pre-show music, helping the venue serve its roughly 100,000 annual attendees with a more consistent listening experience.
