Technology University of Berlin - Customer Case Study

The Technology University of Berlin, a prominent educational institution, faced the challenge of refurbishing two large auditoriums to support modern teaching methods. They required a flexible, cost-effective AV solution that could integrate with their existing Biamp Audia system, allow the rooms to be combined, and enable content streaming between them with minimal latency. Biamp was selected to provide a new IP-based system to meet these evolving needs.

Biamp implemented a Tesira solution, specifically the TesiraLUX platform with AVB/TSN, to create a converged network running both audio and video. This provided the ultra-low latency required for interactive teaching and allowed the university to reuse portions of its original system. The result was a highly stable installation completed on time during the summer break, which fully met the university's pedagogical goals. The Technology University of Berlin was extremely happy with the outcome and is planning to expand the Biamp system to additional buildings.
