A Biamp Case Study

Shure Incorporated - Customer Case Study

Shure Incorporated, the audio company behind the Shure Chicago City Center in Chicago’s Loop, needed to ensure good acoustics across a 35,000-square-foot office that included open work areas, conference rooms, private offices, and a customer experience center. Because of the building’s high ceilings and the need to prevent crosstalk from disrupting demos and private conversations, Shure turned to Biamp for help with sound masking using Cambridge Sound Management’s QtPro system.

Biamp’s solution, Cambridge Sound Management’s QtPro sound masking system, was installed throughout the open office with discreet emitters connected to a Qt 600 control module. The system enabled different masking levels by zone and automatic ramping during busy times, resulting in a more comfortable, private, and functional workplace for employees and visiting customers.
