Shepherd of the Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, needed a new sound system that could support both spoken-word worship and contemporary music in its highly reverberant, acoustically challenging sanctuary. The church wanted better speech intelligibility, integrated access to all input sources, and improved audio for both in-person services and live streaming, and turned to Biamp for help.

Biamp’s Community loudspeakers and ALC amplified loudspeaker controllers were installed by AV Calibrations, including E SERIES column arrays, ENT206 fills, V2-215S subwoofers, and ALC-3202D and ALC-404D processing/power units. The result was vastly improved sound quality, balanced coverage, and a consistent 75 dB room level, while the slim column speakers blended cleanly with the church’s architecture and enhanced livestreams, sermons, and recordings.
