Rose Tree Park in Media, Pennsylvania, needed to update the sound system in its outdoor amphitheater to maintain high-quality audio for The Summer Festival, a nine-week concert series that draws large crowds each year. Biamp provided the upgrade through its Community loudspeakers, helping address the park’s need for improved performance in an outdoor setting.

Biamp and audio specialists Price Stevenson Acoustic Research installed two Community IV6 modular vertical arrays, each made up of all-weather wide-dispersion array elements designed for the amphitheater’s wide audience area. The new system delivered more even coverage, excellent sound quality, SPL, and frequency response consistency, and the park reported a flawless transition with strong feedback from both performers and audiences.
