Mercy Corps, a Northwest NGO, needed a multimedia AV solution for its new Action Center in Portland, Oregon—a hands-on public education space focused on global poverty issues. Biamp’s technology, implemented by CompView, was part of the solution needed to create an engaging, sensory-driven experience that could support multiple media zones without sound interference.

CompView used Biamp® Systems’ Audia® products to build a flexible, networked matrix system across six zones, integrated with touchscreen computers, surround sound, videoconferencing, projection, and simple Crestron control. The result is a stable, easy-to-use interactive space that draws about 2,000 visitors a month and gives Mercy Corps a seamless platform for education and action.
