Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) in Hong Kong, China needed a new DSP system to support its wide range of events after a failure in its existing AV infrastructure. With a packed calendar of meetings, shows, banquets, and special events, the center needed a solution that could be installed without disrupting operations. Biamp’s Tesira platform was selected to meet these requirements.

Biamp implemented a Tesira Server-IO–based system that used existing cabling and AVB network transport, avoiding the need to run new cabling and reducing installation time and cost. The solution provided 48 channels of audio input and output, future-proof scalability, and the flexibility to divide the convention hall into three customized sections, giving HKCEC a reliable and adaptable AV system for years to come.
