A Biamp Case Study
The Dole Institute of Politics at the University of Kansas needed a major AV redesign when a new director reimagined the building from a basic museum exhibit space into a modern, interactive meeting and symposium venue. Working under a tight construction schedule and with last-minute design changes, the Institute turned to Biamp and its Audia system as part of a broader AV solution to support multiple rooms, presentations, conferencing, and flexible routing throughout the building.
Biamp’s Audia platform was installed with centralized control, handling microphone routing, room-to-room audio/video feeds, DSP, matrix switching, and integration with CobraNet across the Institute’s spaces. The result was a highly flexible, largely invisible AV system that met the grand opening deadline, supported functions like videoconferencing and satellite uplink, and enabled the new facility to operate as a high-tech public and academic hub.
