A Biamp Case Study
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science, a major regional science institution, faced the challenge of upgrading the technology across its 112-year-old building and a massive new expansion. They required a comprehensive facility-wide paging system and new audio/video infrastructure without compromising the building's integrity. To address this, they turned to vendor Biamp for a solution involving their Audia and Vocia product lines.
Biamp implemented an integrated system using AudiaFLEX for spaces needing localized audio control and Vocia for general paging, all running over a CobraNet LAN. This decentralized approach saved the museum money on equipment and installation time. The solution provided reliable, flexible audio across all galleries and spaces, with the future addition of Tesira products for further media routing. The customer reported that the Biamp hardware has been rock solid with zero failures since implementation.
