Citadel Federal Credit Union, a non-profit banking organization in Exton, Pennsylvania, needed a way to reduce noise and protect privacy in its newly built 84,000-square-foot headquarters. With more than 200 employees working across departments that included a busy call center, administrative teams, and private offices, the growing volume of conversations created distractions and raised concerns about speech confidentiality. Biamp’s QtPro sound masking system was selected to address the acoustic challenges.

Biamp implemented QtPro with multiple zones and dedicated control for each floor, allowing different sound masking levels by department, including higher levels for call center areas and lower levels for administrative spaces and conference rooms. The result was a more comfortable, confidential work environment across the facility, with managers able to adjust settings as needed through software from a computer or tablet. Citadel reported that the system’s performance was “nothing short of amazing” and noted improved speech privacy and reduced distractions throughout the headquarters.
