A Biamp Case Study
ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, a renowned museum in Aarhus, Denmark, needed to address acoustical challenges in its new public wing, ARoS Public. With sleek concrete and glass surfaces designed to encourage interaction and experimentation, the space risked excessive noise and speech distractions. Vendor Biamp provided the QtPro® sound masking system to help manage the acoustics.
Biamp worked with the museum and its acoustical consultant to design a zoned sound masking solution with discreet ceiling emitters and a Qt® 300 control module. The system helped create a comfortable acoustic environment for patrons, and ARoS reported that despite active visitor conversations, it had not experienced acoustical issues in the space.
