Aquent, a Boston-based global marketing firm, needed to create a 12,000-square-foot open headquarters with no cubicles, partitions, or assigned seating while still maintaining speech privacy and reducing noise distractions. Biamp implemented the Qt® 600 system with discreet Qt® Emitters placed throughout the open ceiling, providing uniform sound masking coverage without disrupting the office design. The result was a more comfortable, private, and collaborative environment: conversations beyond about 15 feet faded into the background, helping employees focus better while preserving the open-office feel.
