Accudata Systems, a Houston-based IT consulting and integration firm, moved into a new office space designed for collaboration, natural light, and modern amenities. However, the open layout, long corridors, and fewer walls created speech privacy issues and distracting noise, especially in private offices, conference rooms, and open work areas. To address the challenge, Accudata turned to Biamp and its QtPro sound masking solution.

Biamp worked with integration partner Fitt Telecom to install Qt® 600 Sound Masking System emitters throughout the office, including open and drop ceiling areas and pendant-mounted units in the corridor, with zoned masking levels and automatic ramping. The result was a quieter, more comfortable, and distraction-free workplace that improved employee focus and satisfaction, and Accudata reported that the system was more advanced and effective than its previous sound masking setup.
