Texas A&M University ITEC Centralizing Remote Access Management

Texas A&M University’s Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC) is a leading research lab focused on public safety, communications, and interoperability. ITEC needed a way to connect to any person or device at any time while meeting strict state and federal security requirements, but their remote-access processes were manual and hard to scale.

ITEC deployed BeyondTrust’s Privileged Remote Access to centralize remote access management—making it easy to add devices and user logins, configure permissions, and enforce security policies. The solution eliminated manual administration, increased operational efficiency, and streamlined secure access across the lab: “Utilizing the BeyondTrust PRA solution makes us more efficient because we don't have to manually manage remote access,” said Michael E. Fox, Senior Associate Director.
