The Michigan State Council of the Knights of Columbus, a statewide fraternal organization with about 70,000 members, needed a better way to support its statewide email system and roughly 2,000 local officers and directors. Members’ technical abilities varied widely and phone-only troubleshooting was slow and frustrating, while the Council’s small staff required a secure, hosted remote-support option.
The Council implemented Bomgar’s hosted remote support (with 256-bit AES SSL) so technicians could start one-click sessions, view members’ screens, and directly resolve email and other device issues. The solution sped troubleshooting for 200–300 key leaders, was easy for backup staff to learn, improved member satisfaction, and offers API-driven integration with ticketing for streamlined future workflows.
