Premier Bankcard, part of First PREMIER Bank, needed a better way to manage privileged access and support a broader move to AWS and the cloud while maintaining PCI compliance. Using BeyondTrust’s Password Safe along with existing Privileged Identity, Privilege Management, and Privileged Remote Access tools, the team wanted to simplify password rotation, reduce audit risk, and avoid disruption during cloud migration.

BeyondTrust implemented Password Safe to integrate with Privileged Remote Access and support a more seamless path to AWS, while also shifting upgrades and maintenance to BeyondTrust. The result was less manual work, fewer downtime requirements, improved security and compliance, and several hours saved per upgrade. The bank also gained easier, more collaborative service-account password management and greater confidence through on-prem replication for resilience.
