BeyondTrust worked with an educational institution (TechValidate research) that needed to reduce risk from security breaches and tighten operational practices around privileged accounts. The institution purchased BeyondTrust’s PowerBroker privileged account management solution to log, audit and report on privileged activity.

They deployed PowerBroker Auditor after evaluating Dell/Quest and Netwrix, rating BeyondTrust’s privilege-account capabilities, security context and low total cost of ownership as very highly differentiated, with reporting and flexible deployment also differentiated. The solution centralized auditing across their cloud-based AD (each internal organization as its own OU) and the institution plans to expand auditing and activity reporting as their next PAM project.
