A BeyondTrust Case Study
Julius Blum GmbH, an Austria‑based global manufacturer of furniture fittings, needed a secure, company‑wide remote support solution to help its IT team support traveling employees and outside vendors. Multiple disparate remote‑access tools across dozens of sites made it difficult to monitor configuration changes, enforce access rights, and meet security and compliance requirements—especially for suppliers that require occasional, tightly controlled access to production systems.
After piloting Bomgar with a 10‑person IT team, Blum deployed the appliance across the organization, growing to 150 user licenses and replacing tools like TeamViewer and LogMeIn. Bomgar provided centralized logging, granular, temporary access control (provisioned via Active Directory in seconds), cross‑country support and platform independence, streamlining operations, improving security and compliance, and enabling future mobile device support.
