Bechtle AG, a leading European IT services provider headquartered in Neckarsulm with about 10,000 employees and more than 70,000 customers, faced fragmented remote-support tools that didn’t integrate with its ServiceNow ITSM and raised data‑protection concerns. The IT team needed higher productivity and a guarantee that sensitive support data would remain inside Bechtle’s network rather than traverse third‑party servers.

Bechtle deployed a BeyondTrust hardware appliance with Remote Support and Privileged Access, integrated into ServiceNow to start sessions from tickets and attach chat logs and annotations. The solution delivered cross‑platform and mobile support, centralized authorization and logging (including for the site’s EV charging stations), improved helpdesk efficiency, and helped meet strict data‑protection and security requirements as the rollout expanded.
