The client, a US-based industrial manufacturer, faced a cumbersome and time-consuming challenge in its tool inspection and quality certification process. Staff had to manually search a large inventory list in a legacy Windows application to update each item's status before shipment. Beyond Intranet was engaged to develop a solution using PowerApps to streamline this workflow.

Beyond Intranet developed a quality check application using PowerApps for the front end and Azure SQL Server for the back end. The solution organized products into customer-order batches and used integrated barcode scanners to simplify the inspection process, which was defined by specific pass/fail parameters. This digitized system automated the entire process, generating digital certificates and saving significant time. The results included a more efficient and accurate inspection system, the elimination of manual searching, and an overall improvement in product quality for the manufacturer.
