The client, a Western Australia-based non-profit organization, faced a challenge in securely tracking the attendance and transportation of at-risk youth in its outreach programs. They needed a reliable system to manage check-ins and check-outs from various locations to ensure the safety and well-being of the children. To address this, the organization partnered with vendor Beyond Intranet to develop a solution leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform.

Beyond Intranet created a mobile application using PowerApps that was integrated with SharePoint and Bing Maps. This enterprise-level solution provided an easy-to-use interface for staff to log attendance on the go, which was then visualized through Power BI dashboards. The results included a streamlined process for tracking participant movement, improved ability to report on program benefits, and significant cost savings compared to custom development.
