RunBuggy is an open marketplace that connects car shippers, haulers and drivers via a mobile app and has grown rapidly since 2019, moving hundreds of thousands of cars with triple-digit year-over-year growth. Facing strict enterprise customer security requirements and the need to scale device visibility and access for a 100% remote workforce and ~17,000 drivers with widely varying tech skills, RunBuggy turned to Beyond Identity to modernize authentication and device posture without adding friction for drivers or employees.

Beyond Identity delivered a proof of concept and deployed Secure Workforce followed by Secure Customers (integrated with Okta), implementing passwordless authentication and device-posture checks to enable a zero-trust model. The result: driver onboarding dropped to under one minute, onboarding that once required attention for 99% of drivers now completes with a single click, password-related support calls were virtually eliminated, and RunBuggy gained stronger assurance that employees access resources only from approved, secure devices—boosting volumes and margins.
