Teyler Eliminates Excel Once-And-For-All with No-Code

Teyler, a Dutch process optimization company, faced fragmented project data spread across countless Excel files that undermined centralized project control, risk management, and reporting. Seeking a no-code way to automate consultants and stop versioning issues, Teyler turned to Betty Blocks and citizen-developer Lex Brouwer to build a custom process and control application and customer portal.

Using Betty Blocks, Lex built an MVP in 5 weeks (125 development hours, 120 building blocks) that centralized data outside spreadsheets, automated report generation for Risk and Asset Management, and provided a client-facing portal. The solution eliminated Excel-driven versioning, enabled real-time collaboration for consultants and clients, supported SLAs with the Harbour of Moerdijk and several Dutch provinces, and freed Teyler to deliver faster, more consistent services and deeper analysis.
