Gemeente Hoorn needed a secure way to exchange confidential messages with care providers when the national Municipal Information Hub (GGK & VECOZO) would not be ready in time. To avoid sending sensitive data by e-mail, the municipality engaged Betty Blocks and its platform to rapidly deliver an alternative solution before year‑end.

Betty Blocks built a secure data portal (BB‑Web) that allows Hoorn to send assignments to care providers and receive declarations back, compliant with iJW and iWmo standards. A proof of concept was delivered within hours, a working portal in two days and full improvement and implementation in eight days; the solution eliminated risky e‑mail traffic and has since been extended to connect other municipalities (Koggenland & Opmeer).
