Drive Ugo, a taxi start-up founded by Mark Stephan, Koen Bekkering and Boyd Sleeman, needed a high-quality, user-friendly customer management solution to fix common frustrations with taxi rides and to differentiate itself in Amsterdam’s market. They partnered with Betty Blocks to build a flexible cloud and mobile business application using the Betty Blocks platform that could scale with their innovative service and integrate with their mobile apps.

Betty Blocks delivered a custom customer management app—built and launched to a first working version in just ten days—that integrates real-time ride data from iOS and Android apps, processes payments (in-app, credit card, invoice) and provides 100% online visibility into drivers, customers and rides. The Betty Blocks solution gave Drive Ugo immediate real-time insights, a unique UI and rapid regional management, enabling operations in Amsterdam and The Hague with planned expansion to additional cities.
