Global Business Insurance Provider partnered with BetterUp to support a multiyear globalization and cultural transformation after four consecutive years of losses. As the company shifted employees from siloed regional roles to a global team structure, leaders and teams faced new responsibilities, cross-border collaboration challenges, and the need to build psychological safety, engagement, and resilience. BetterUp Lead was used to help employees adapt to these changes.

BetterUp helped scale individualized coaching to nearly 300 leaders across 30 countries, accelerating readiness for newly hired and promoted executives and strengthening self-awareness, communication, stress management, and leadership effectiveness. The results included 85% of leaders reporting greater effectiveness, 78% making meaningful progress toward their goals, a 23% improvement in employee engagement, a 17% improvement in work-related stressors, and about a 25% decrease in attrition. The company said BetterUp played a key role in its cultural transformation, which ultimately drove its return to profitability.
