MO Pros is a niche community for marketing operations professionals founded in 2017 that has grown to 1,600+ members but faced limitations with Slack—poor knowledge discoverability and scalability for a paid membership model. To preserve member-generated knowledge, control access for paid subscribers, and better structure conversations, MO Pros partnered with Bettermode to deploy a purpose-built online community platform.
Bettermode implemented a private, membership-integrated community with SSO, topic- and group-based organization, multiple post types (Q&A, articles, how‑tos), Slack notifications, and Zapier automations. The result: a full-featured community launched and integrated with the MO Pros membership site, 50% of members active, and 335% growth over two years to 1,600+ professionals, enabling sustained knowledge sharing, playbook-building, and member-driven value.
