Fairfield University, a Jesuit Catholic institution, sought to distinguish its Dolan School of Business from competitors. The challenge was to find an innovative value-add for graduate students. The university partnered with BetterManager, which provided an executive coaching service to address this leadership development need.

BetterManager implemented a co-curricular coaching program centered around a DISC assessment and three subsequent sessions. The solution was designed to build self-awareness and teach adaptive communication behaviors, directly supplementing academic coursework. The program received stellar feedback from students, who reported feeling better prepared for professional leadership roles. Based on this success, Fairfield University expanded the partnership for a third cohort.
