Xarxa Audiovisual Local (xal), a media producer and distributor dedicated to promoting Catalan language and culture, needed an over-the-top (OTT) application to stream content from its wide network of local TV channels and radio stations. Better Software Group implemented a customized design for the white-label Better Media Suite platform, ensuring it worked across a wide range of devices including web, mobile, smart TVs, and set-top boxes. Key features included a favorites section, an advanced content categorization system, and an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG). The solution provided users with flexible access to live, video-on-demand, and pay-per-view content, serving as a crucial internet-based distribution channel for xal's regional programming.
