Takso grows to 15 pilot site customers with Beta Launch

Takso, a cultural development planning and evaluation software product from the non-profit Cultural Development Network (CDN), faced the challenge of moving its proof-of-concept to a market-ready platform. They struggled with a lack of in-house technical expertise, unpredictable funding, and the high cost of local development talent, which hampered their progress. CDN engaged vendor Beta Launch and its Build-Grow solution to overcome these obstacles.

Beta Launch implemented an agile, iterative development approach, building and prioritizing features in stages based on direct user feedback from pilot sites. This method allowed for a fully functional product that could scale up or down to match CDN's capital access pattern. As a result, Takso successfully onboarded 15 new pilot site customers across Australia, secured further funding, and attracted major institutions like the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, solidifying its position as a world-class product in the cultural sector.
