A Beststart Human Resources Case Study
Independent School, a single-sex school for boys aged 4–13, wanted honest staff feedback on job satisfaction, management style, communication, and clarity of values after a new Headmaster’s arrival. It engaged Beststart Human Resources to run an independent staff survey using an online questionnaire to encourage anonymity and gather both quantitative and qualitative insights.
Beststart Human Resources analysed and presented the results, then helped the school act on key issues by setting up a Staff Association and delivering integrity-at-work training for all staff. The initiatives improved communication across the School and helped staff address negativity more directly and positively, with the SLT reporting that the changes had a very positive outcome and that inappropriate behaviours were being called out in a constructive way.
