Kaidee, Thailand’s largest C2C online marketplace, was struggling with slow moderation in 2016, with less than 20% of listings going live within 5 minutes. This created frustration for users and negative feedback online, so the company needed a faster, more scalable moderation approach. Besedo stepped in with Implio, its moderation platform, to help modernize Kaidee’s outdated in-house tool.
Besedo implemented a combination of automated filters and AI, working closely with Kaidee to map policies, improve UX, and tailor the moderation workflow. The result was 85% automation, 96% accuracy, and 94% of ads live within 5 minutes, while the moderation team was reduced from 40 to 18 people. Besedo also helped Kaidee save an estimated 6 months of development time, improving user experience, acquisition, and retention.
