University of Hull builds London Study Centre shortlist of 5 with Berwick Partners

The University of Hull engaged Berwick Partners to find a Dean for its new London Study Centre, a joint venture with Cambridge Education Group. The challenge was to identify a candidate with a unique mix of academic leadership and professional operational skills to develop and grow this significant new enterprise for the university.

Berwick Partners executed a targeted search, identifying 258 potential candidates and ultimately presenting a shortlist of five individuals. The successful candidate, Christopher MacAllister, was appointed and has since led the Centre to exceed its growth targets, increasing student recruitment and expanding the portfolio ahead of schedule. The impact was so significant that the Centre is now relocating to larger premises to accommodate the growth in student numbers.
