A Bento Graphics Case Study
Asial, a global Japanese software development company with over 20 years of experience, sought to redesign its international website to attract new global clients and talent in the IT sector while also instilling a sense of pride among its existing team. They commissioned the Tokyo-based design studio Bento Graphics to direct and design this new web presence, which required establishing their international brand identity through a project that included information architecture, UI/UX design, custom illustration, and web animation.
Bento Graphics developed a clean, minimalist UI with a distinctive black background to contrast the brand's orange color. The solution was brought to life with a unique "Impossible Objects" visual concept, featuring 18 custom illustrations and 8 web animations that incorporated storytelling to engage visitors. The new site successfully achieved Asial's core objectives, resulting in a platform that effectively communicates to a global audience. The CEO of Asial Corporation commended Bento Graphics for their comprehensive design skills, innovation, and seamless communication, stating that the collaboration surpassed all expectations.
