Tantek 4D Successfully Manages Construction of Tallest Modular-built High-rise in the World

Tantek 4D, an Ireland-based digital engineering firm, was engaged to manage construction planning for the tallest modular-built high-rise in the world in Croydon, London—two towers comprising 2,000 modular units. Facing complex sequencing, model interoperability needs, and a requirement for collaborative, real‑time workflows, Tantek 4D turned to Bentley’s SYNCHRO applications (SYNCHRO 4D and SYNCHRO Pro) to deliver high-quality 4D simulations and clear visual communication for stakeholders.

Using Bentley’s SYNCHRO, Tantek 4D imported multiple model formats to build a 4D BIM model that handled sequencing, safety, risk mitigation, logistics, constructability analysis, and a crane lifting strategy for the constrained site. The Bentley solution helped identify sequencing errors, accelerate program opportunities, and enabled stakeholder sign-off with Network Rail and Transport for London—resulting in increased productivity, improved safety awareness, reduced risk of time delays, and a 100% growth in Tantek 4D’s client base over the past year.
