Osborne, the main contractor for the A46 Coventry junctions upgrade for Highways England (part of a £8.7bn national programme), needed a way to streamline delivery, manage large volumes of project and asset information, and improve collaboration across subcontractors and the client. To meet these challenges Osborne selected Bentley and its BCDE common data environment (CDE) to provide a single, cloud-based information management platform for the scheme.

Bentley’s BCDE CDE is being implemented as the primary project information system to house all project data securely, give Osborne the same platform used by Highways England, and provide a consistent, intuitive interface for all users. The Bentley solution enables seamless collaboration with subcontractors and the supply chain, accelerates project processes through common interfaces and workflows, and supports more efficient delivery by ensuring a single source of truth for project information.
