A Bentley Case Study
Amodal, an information management service provider, was engaged to gather and organize the massive volume of documentation produced for British Land’s GBP 4 billion Canada Water mixed‑use development. Facing the risk of lost information, fragmented digital silos, and the need for audit trails and intuitive access to design documents, risk registers, expense plans, and reports, Amodal selected Bentley’s BCDE Portfolio to create a future‑proof common data environment.
Amodal configured and rolled out Bentley’s BCDE Portfolio—running stakeholder workshops, migrating existing data, and implementing role‑based interfaces—to centralize all project and asset information. The Bentley solution improved transparency for government approvals and third‑party sharing, sped decision‑making, enforced information standards, and reduced carbon emissions by an estimated 153 kg per person by eliminating duplicate emailing and storage.
