ASGC Constructs Dubai’s First and Largest Fully Air-conditioned, Multipurpose Indoor Arena

ASGC was the main contractor for the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai — a half‑million‑square‑foot, 20,000‑capacity, fully air‑conditioned multipurpose indoor venue — and faced the challenge of coordinating complex sequencing, stakeholder communication, and handover documentation across design, steel erection, and site workflows. To manage 4D construction planning and scheduling and produce comprehensive 4D BIM documentation, ASGC chose Bentley’s SYNCHRO Pro.

Using Bentley’s SYNCHRO Pro, ASGC implemented 4D simulations, clash detection, site logistics tracking, and centralized project documentation to improve decision‑making and stakeholder communication. Bentley’s solution cut weekly progress meetings from three hours to 45 minutes (saving 544 hours), reduced steel‑structure construction/delivery time by about two weeks (and associated costs), streamlined handovers with as‑built 4D models, and helped the arena open in June 2019 as a premier events venue.
