A BenQ Case Study
Yeosu Art Land, an interactive art resort in South Korea, wanted to create a fully immersive 60-meter-long multimedia tunnel to amaze its visitors with seamless video on both walls. The challenge was to turn this vision into reality, which required advanced projection technology capable of edge blending and wrapping. Yeosu Art Land and its system integrator sought the help of vendor BenQ to find a solution.
BenQ implemented a solution using 38 of its LU9715 Large-Venue Laser Projectors with optional ultra zoom lenses. These projectors were installed on the ceiling and used to beam seamless, otherworldly content along the entire tunnel. The result was an overwhelmingly positive public response, with visitors feeling transported to another world. The resort's operators were also highly satisfied with the projectors' enduring, low-maintenance performance, leading them to adopt the BenQ solution long-term after a successful trial.
