Shanghai Science & Technology Museum - Customer Case Study

The Shanghai Science & Technology Museum needed to recreate a visually-arresting key scene from the film The Three-Body Problem for an expo. Their challenge was to produce a massive, seamless, high-definition projection that could withstand a dusty environment and meet the high aesthetic standards of the film's producers.

BenQ solved this by installing three of their High Brightness Large Venue PU9730 projectors. The solution used projection mapping to create a single, gap-free, ultra-high definition image. The projectors' Integrated Filtration system protected them from dust, and their dual-lamp design ensured uninterrupted operation. The result was an immersive, hologram-like experience that thrilled the project team and expo guests, making the installation a massive success.
