The customer, an artistic transmedia project named Lorem, required an immersive audiovisual installation for its "Distrust Everything Project" in a small, irregularly shaped 17th-century church in Venice. The challenge was to create a high-contrast, fully immersive room that could isolate visitors from the external space, a task made difficult by the venue's tight dimensions and architectural constraints.

BenQ implemented a solution using its LU9800 large venue projectors paired with LS1ST3A short-throw lenses. This specific combination was chosen for its ability to project large, high-brightness images in a confined space and its 2D Keystone feature to correct for the projector’s placement. The result was a highly successful and immersive psychedelic dreamscape that visitors and curators praised for its high contrast and great definition, effectively enhancing the disorienting and hallucinatory feel of the AI-generated art.
