SPIE, an independent European leader in multi-technical services, faced a significant challenge in communicating with its 4,300 employees in the Netherlands, a majority of whom work remotely or on client sites. This widespread workforce struggled to access vital information about their generous compensation and benefits packages, which was buried on an intranet. To become a more attractive employer and improve engagement, SPIE partnered with the vendor Benify to implement its cloud-based benefits and total rewards platform.

The solution from Benify provided a personalized platform and app that filtered information, ensuring each employee only saw details relevant to their specific compensation package. This made information easily accessible anytime, anywhere. The implementation led to a direct increase in employee engagement, a significant reduction in HR queries, and freed up the HR team's time to focus on adding more value to the organization. Following the success of the pilot in the Netherlands, SPIE plans to expand the Benify platform to its other international markets.
